Frequently asked.
The short answers. For the full connection mechanics, see How it works.
Do I need an API key?
No. Every client on this page connects with a plain URL and no token. Authentication happens in your browser the first time the client calls a tool. A manual API key is still available under Account → API keys for scripts, CI, or clients that can't do browser OAuth, but it's not the default path.
Can I connect more than one agent?
Yes, that is the normal case. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, and Antigravity can all be connected at the same time, each with its own separately-approved grant. Approving one doesn't approve the others, and they show up as separate connections.
How do I revoke a connection?
Account → API keys lists every connected agent with its name and last-used time. Revoking one immediately invalidates that client's grant; the others are unaffected.
Does the agent see my whole workspace?
It sees whatever your account can see, scoped to what you approved on the consent screen (read / write / run). The consent screen names the scopes in plain words before you approve. Nothing is granted silently.
Is this the same as the free local CLI?
No, different products. The free ordel-cli (see /download) runs entirely on your machine with zero cloud connection, for testing any app locally. This page connects your coding agent to your Ordel SaaS workspace, projects, runs, and history stored in your account.
Will my agent's LLM provider see my data?
Ordel's MCP server only exchanges tool calls and results with whichever LLM your coding agent already uses, nothing new is added to that path. Ordel itself never sees your coding agent's model or conversation, only the tool calls it chooses to make.
